Independent Movie

To anyone who knows anything about a making independent Movie?

I keep hearing about these guys who have no Film schooling or film making experience whatsoever, like Taratino or Troy Dyffy. I want to know what’s the steps to this or how do you start?

This is a very loaded question requiring an incredibly long answer but heres the gist of it. Get some digital cameras or camcorders and some decent editing software. Grab a script and some friends and hit someplace public. If you go into an establishment you either guerrilla shoot or pay them for their time or get a permit. Shoot your movie, edit it, submit to local artist film fest or facsimile thereof.
